I absolutely hate this thing. It is poorly designed and could do with some much needed improvements.I am roughly 5 feet tall, and I currently have injuries to my right elbow, hip, and lower back. In order for me to use this machine so that it does not put a strain on my hip or back, I have to bend my arm so that my elbow is pointing behind me, and have it bent at a 45 degree angle so that I am able to depress the trigger while keeping the skid under the machine level with the ground. If I stand this tool upright, the trigger and the battery are level with my face. Users need a way to shorten the distance between the thrower mechanism and the trigger in order for it to be comfortable for people shorter than 6 ft to use.It isn't easy to push along old cement. The skid literally gets stuck on EVERYTHING. In order for this to slide easily along the ground, you would need to use it on a completely flat surface, with no cracks, seams, pock marks from previous winter weather. The skid gets stuck on mounds 1/4" thick made up of dead plant material that is in between the cracks in my driveway. It REALLY struggles when I need it to go over ice. I can't slide it over compressed snow from car tires, or icy footprints in the snow. It gets stuck and forces me to lift the machine up and scoot it over the little thing of ice that it got stuck on. Not helpful when you have joint or spine-related injuries. With the battery installed, it's HEAVIER than a regular snow shovel filled with wet snow.
